The HMF Spot Check campaign was introduced during the 2020/2021 summer season.
Thanks to funding, and the generosity of local Doctors from Newcastle Skin Check who donate their time, we have been able to continue to provide free skins to the Hunter community.
As the program grows so does the demand for people to receive free skin checks. With this in mind we kindly ask that if you have received a free skin check through Spot Check and are due for your annual skin check that you instead make this appointment with a GP, skin specialist or dermatologist.
Spot Check was designed to provide people the opportunity to receive a free skin check and become more responsible with checking and protecting their skin.
We are only a local charity with limited funding and resources so we appreciate you being understanding by this request.
